Etihad Rail is presently seeking applications from devoted candidates for position of a Facilities Maintenance Technician to work at Al Faya Depot in Abu Dhabi. Job Overview of A Facilities Technician

• Carry out any routine and ad-hoc maintenance of the building facilities as per the direction given by the Facilities Maintenance Foreman and Supervisor.
• Responsible to perform building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing etc.)

Your Duties As A Facilities Technician

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure safety standards.
• Maintain electric systems (replace light bulbs and sockets).
• Clean and repair circuit breaker panels.
• Maintain ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure that they work.
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Assist in pest control and landscaping related activities.
• Work under Facility Maintenance Foreman.
• Supervise sub contractors of building maintenance to ensure Safe System at work is followed.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• High School certificate.

Professional Qualifications

• Light vehicle driving license.
• Certificate in Building Maintenance would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge on SAP.
• MS Office.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Basic understanding of AC, electric work.

Skills Desired

• Good verbal and written skills in English.
• Ability to work in harsh weather conditions.
• Ability to perform multi task work.
• Report writing skills.
