Job Description

The College of Dental Medicine at the University of Sharjah is seeking a well qualified candidate for a full time Lecturer Restorative Dentistry. This job was announced by the University on 4 January 2024. Candidates aspiring to become part of UoS should submit their application now.

Duties of Lecturer Restorative Dentistry

  • The appointee shall provide didactic, laboratory and clinical training to undergraduate students in Operative Dentistry and Dental Materials, and continuing development of this discipline in the undergraduate curriculum.
  • The successful candidate expected to provide clinical services in the Centre of Excellence under the governance of University of Sharjah. ​

Job Requirements of Lecturer Restorative Dentistry

  • BDS or DDS.
  • At least  3 year structured clinical training, Master in Dental Surgery (MDS)/ fellowship or board certification in the area of specialization from a recognized authority.
  • Experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and clinical supervision.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Proven record of research.
  • Applicant must hold a valid full dental licence in the area of specialization.
  • Applicant must be eligible for UAE Ministry of Health specialist dental license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English Language.
