Role of Lifeguard

Responsible for surveying pools / water bodies. Rescuing and providing first aid to weak / injured swimmers.

Tasks of Lifeguard

• Open and close the pool everyday as per schedule.
• Ensure proper treatment of pool water with correct quantity of chemicals.
• Closely monitor and identify safety hazards related to pool area.
• In case or emergency or danger, direct the swimmers our of the water body.
• Provide coaching and swim lessons to the students on requirement.
• Maintain Cleanliness of the water body
• Explain and enforce rules and regulations for ensuring the safety of swimmers.
• Perform first aid procedures where required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be 16 years or older in age.
• Must have completed lifeguard training.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Certification

• First Aid and CPR certification.
• AED certification preferred.

• Able to interact with people of various ages from diverse backgrounds.
• Willing to work shifts.
• Physically fit, agile, and strong.
