Job Description
Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities (IACAD) is looking to hire candidate for the job position of a Teacher. The successful candidate will be required to teach Quran and impart Quranic teachings / education at the Center. This job role is primarily for UAE nationals only. All aspirants meeting the below mentioned eligibility criteria must make use of this opportunity.
Job Purpose of A Teacher
Impart Holy Quran and Sharia sciences teachings as per the set curriculum at IACAD Center of Islamic Teachings.
Job Duties of A Teacher
- Perform work & organize working hours / schedules in line with department instructions.
- Teach Holy Quran and Sharia sciences according to the specified curriculum.
- Maintain proper record of attendance, absentees and other disposals in the electronic system of department.
- Communicate with female students according to rules set by Department.
- Prepare and implement programs that will motivate female students.
- Develop creative teaching methods to impart teachings in the best way.
- Continuously evaluate studies, write analytical reports and submit them to the direct manager.
- Suggest improvements or action plan for female students who have learning difficulties.
- Be part of judging committee of Holy Quran competitions for women and primary school boys.
- Be part of judging committee of hadith and scholarly writing competitions for women.
- Follow the department’s security policies and procedures.
- Attend security awareness workshops.
- Report security incidents if any.
- Perform any other job duties with regards to job role as asked by the highee authorities in the department or deemed necessary.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies or equivalent with no experience.
Or
- High school with 2 years experience and a certificate in recitation or memorization of the Holy Quran (not less than three parts of the Holy Quran)
Certification
A certificate in Tajweed or a higher qualification to teach in a recitation and Tajweed course.
