Job Description

Springdale Indian School Sharjah is actively looking for eligible candidate for job position of a Islamic Study Teacher. The aspiring candidate will join the Islamic Studies faculty of school. The teacher is the role model and mentor of children for islamic teachings / studies. This job has recently been posted by the school career page and is welcoming applications from all desirous candidates.

Job Purpose of Teacher

  • Lead the students to discover the beauty of Islam, with the intent of applying knowledge into beneficial actions.
  • Educate students about Islamic faith, culture and values, fostering a deeper understanding of Islam.

Job Duties of Teacher

  • Educate students on Islamic teachings, faitj, histroy, culture and values through well set lessons and lectures.
  • Teach students through examples and stories so as to make it easy for them to understand.
  • Engage students by using a variety of teaching strategies and methods.
  • Prepare lesson plans in a thorough manner before class.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the age level you teach.
  • Attend regular professional development seminars and staff trainings.
  • Regularly attend a pre approved Islamic education course.
  • Maintain consistent communication with students, parents and staff.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with students, parents and staff.

Qualification & Experience

  • A bachelor or master degree in the Islamic studies or degree of B.Ed.
  • 2 years of teaching experience in UAE is preferable.

Skills Desired

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • E learning knowledge is advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office and computer basic is a plus.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities.
