Job Description

Community Development Authority (CDA) Dubai is actively accepting applications for job position of a Social Researcher. The aspiring candidate must be socially active and fulfill the eligibility criteria. This job has been posted by CDA Dubai on 21 March 2024 and is now open for all desirous candidates.

Responsibilities of A Social Researcher

  • Prepare field social research on cases received by the Authority from various society groups / ages to analyze requirements and needs, monitor them and submit reports.
  • Review requests for services included in the integrated case management system.
  • Review all submitted documents & ensure that they comply with standards to approve the eligibility of applicants.
  • Estimate expenses & benefits in preparation for case studies and determine the cases on which studies will be conducted.
  • Review the data and attachments based on reports received from the relevant external bodies (Health Authority, Pensions Authority, Endowments and Minors Affairs Foundation, Knowledge Authority, etc.) which may include details of financial income, health status and educational requirements in order to measure the mechanism of expenditures, services and benefits.
  • Prepare case studies for the approved committees in the Authority (Critical Humanitarian Cases Committee, Financial Benefits Grievances Committee).
  • Follow up on committee recommendations & ensuring their implementation.
  • Following up on status of cases & verifying the services obtained from the Authority.
  • Transfer requests to concerned departments with regards to provision of entitled services to customers.
  • Follow up on cases & inform customers of developments regarding their requests, entitlements and services.
  • Adherence to the information security policies and procedures approved by the Authority.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of information.
  • Any other tasks and competencies within the scope of job responsibilities.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

  • Bachelor degree in social sciences.

Experience

  • 2 years of experience in the field of social services.

Lingual Skills

  • Proficiency in Arabic and English (speaking and writing.
