Job Description

A Network Engineer at NMC Healthcare is responsible for the planning, implementing, evaluating, maintenance, and support of the Network and Security environment. The applicants must possess depth of Knowledge and hands-on experience in Routing and Switching (Huawei/Cisco). This opportunity was announced by the company on March 11, 2024 with the requisition ID 3922.

Responsibilities of Network Engineer

  • Ensuring all security measures are integrated into systems throughout the systems life cycle to protect systems boundaries and harden the Network from a cybersecurity perspective.
  • Designing and fixing the countermeasures to identify security risks.
  • Developing and applying security policies that meet system security objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

Following are the requirements for the role of Network Engineer at NMC Healthcare:

  • Qualification in Computer Science / Engineering or related discipline.
  • Certification – CCNA, CCNP, NSE4.
  • ITIL Certification V3 or relevant experience.
  • 4 + years’ experience, in Network and Security with demonstrated administrative skills.
  • Experience in Project Documentation and Reporting.
  • MNC work experience preferred.
  • Solid technical background, with hands-on experience with Network Switch and Firewall.
  • Experienced in upgrading Network Switches, Firewalls, and Wireless Controllers.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Depth of Knowledge and hands-on experience in FortiGate Firewall.
  • Depth of Knowledge and hands-on experience in WLC (Huawei/Cisco).
  • Hands-on Patch Management Knowledge in switching, Firewall & Wireless
  • Knowledge of Forti Analyzer/Forti Manager.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft directory services (AD, DHCP, DNS) is plus.
  • Designing and fixing the countermeasures to identify security risks.
  • Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
