Job Description

A UAE national Data Analytics Analyst at NMC Healthcare will conduct comprehensive analysis of healthcare data to extract actionable insights and identify trends that can inform strategic initiatives. The role holder will develop and implement data cleaning and preprocessing techniques to ensure data quality and integrity. Further, he will design and build automated dashboard tools.

Responsibilities of Data Analytics Analyst

  • Design and build predictive models and algorithms to support various healthcare-related applications, including patient care optimization, resource allocation, and risk prediction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, administrators, and IT professionals. Understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Utilize analytical and statistical tools to perform exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing. Effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Maintain and optimize databases and data infrastructure to support efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in data science, healthcare informatics, and related fields, incorporating best practices into our data science workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

Following are the requirements for the role of Data Analytics Analyst at NMC Corporate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a data scientist or a similar role.
  • Proven experience working as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, within the healthcare industry.
  • Hands-on experience implementing algorithms and building predictive models.
  • Healthcare experience in UAE will be an advantage.
  • Experience working with healthcare-related datasets, such as electronic health records (EHR), claims data, and medical imaging data, is a plus.

Job Skills & Knowledge

  • Proficiency in data manipulation, cleaning, and preprocessing techniques using Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations, preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present complex findings in a clear a way.
