Michael Page has an opportunity for Cyber Security Researcher to join tech company creating innovative solutions for a high growth industry. This is an exciting role with a growing Tech business in Dubai. Candidate must have experience working as a Cybersecurity Researcher.
Responsibilities of Cybersecurity Researcher
- Conduct advanced research in web security, focusing on identifying vulnerabilities in web applications and browser technologies.
- Engage in vulnerability research and reverse engineering to uncover potential security breaches.
- Apply OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) methodologies to gather and analyse information to enhance security postures.
- Develop Proof of Concept (POC) demonstrations for research results, illustrating the impact and potential mitigation strategies.
- Keep up to date with the most recent developments in cybersecurity trends and technologies.
Requirements of Cybersecurity Researcher
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or any other relevant field.
- 4 years of experience in a Cyber Security research role.
- Certifications in Cybersecurity such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP are highly preferred.
Skills and Abilities Desired
- Proven expertise in offensive security, cybersecurity, web application security.
- Extensive knowledge of browser internals and security architectures, along with proficiency in JavaScript, MDN Web API, and Java, enabling robust protection mechanisms.
- Strong expertise in vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and adeptness with OSINT tools and techniques, ensuring comprehensive threat mitigation strategies.
