Responsibilities of Backend Engineer Node.js

• Develop and maintain the server-side logic using Node.js, PostgreSQL, and other backend technologies.
• Design and manage databases, ensuring efficient and secure data handling.
• Create and maintain APIs for internal and external use.
• Optimize server performance and scalability.
• Implement security measures and data protection protocols.

Requirements of Backend Engineer Node.js

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or any other relevant field.
• 5+ years in backend development.
• Experience with cloud services and server management.

Skills and Abilities Desired

• Proficiency in Node.js, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and related backend technologies.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and design.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Fluent in English as this is a client-facing role.
• Self-motivated, proactive and results driven.
• Professional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.Should enjoy working in a team and be able to solve problems and resolve issues in an amicable manner.
