Job Description
The Master Data Manager at Sharaf Retail will play a critical role in designing and implementing effective data management practices within the organization. Candidate is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity and availability of data through the development and enforcement of data management policies, procedures and standards. The candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail and expertise in data governance principles and practices.
Responsibilities of Master Data Manager
- Designing data models and developing innovative data management practices.
- Conducting audits and analyzing data trends to ensure data accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Designing and implementing data management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Creating backups of existing data sets to ensure data availability.
- Developing a long-term strategy for data management to support organizational goals.
- Reviewing data sources to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Creating guidelines for data structure to ensure consistency in data storage and access.
- Developing standards for storing and accessing data using relational databases and data warehouses.
- Implementing processes for data governance, including data quality checks and audits.
Requirements for Role of Master Data Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or certification in data management preferred.
- 2 years experience in data management, data governance, or a related field.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Strong understanding of data modeling, relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and implement data management policies and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
