Job Description
The Supermarket Officer at IIQAF Group will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their supermarket. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This is a full-time position with flexible working hours.
Duties of Supermarket Officer
- Oversee the daily operations of the supermarket, ensuring all processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to avoid stock shortages.
- Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Train and supervise new employees, ensuring they adhere to IIQAF policies and procedures.
- Resolve customer complaints and handle any escalations in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that the supermarket is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
- Implement and maintain security measures to prevent theft or damage to products.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and negotiate favorable pricing.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase profitability.
Requirments for Supermarket Officer
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the retail industry.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
