Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) presently has a job opening for eligible candidate for position of a Senior Application Analyst. The selected candidate will work at ADIB branch in Abu Dhabi. Job Purpose of An Application Analyst
- Responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various software applications that are used by company.
- Provide technical guidance and assistance to users who encounter issues with the applications.
Job Duties of An Application Analyst
- Analyze the business and technical requirements from day-to-day activities/ problems including requests received from business users.
- Evaluate different systems to automate whole/part of business area and prepare relevant Business Requirements Document(s) accordingly.
- Plan, manage and control the project tasks and activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement automation required for performing the responsibilities and targets after getting the appropriate approval.
- Recommends multiple technical option / solution with appropriate information for the team leaders to choose a particular option.
- Make technical recommendations on solution and systems to improve processes.
- Responsible for the technical design of the applications assigned.
- Provide second level support to all vendor applications monitor day-to-day business Application Systems problems / errors.
- Participate in system life cycle development projects or enhancements.
- Follow up and track Services, Co-ordinate Vendor Support Issues, respond to service tickets in a timely fashion.
- Track, resolve and report incidents and known errors through the approved processes.
- Follow the mandatory and obligatory standards set by the management in delivering the services.
- Completion of the assigned tasks to satisfy the Users’ needs within agreed time frame.
- Submit the report on timely manner based on ITD policies, plans and procedures and attend to meetings as per work requirements & planning policies and submit or update the projects status through the system biweekly basis and submit reports when required related to ADIB group including international expansion.
- Follow up Audit related findings and resolve.
What You’ll Do More?
- Review system architecture periodically and update any changes as per ITD standards.
- Managing all the systems and related integrations.
- Managing Cloud Migration of related systems.
- Responsible for managing DR rehearsals of related systems.
- Analyze the business and technical requirements from day-to-day activities/ problems including requests received from Users.
- Evaluate different systems to automate the business area and prepare comparative study accordingly.
- Participate in systems implementation.
- Supporting business Users to translate ADIB business requirements to Vendors and vice-versa.
- Provide first level support to all readymade Banking Systems and Financial Applications.
- Provide the maintenance & support to all Vendor applications.
- Monitor day-to-day business Application Systems problems / errors.
- Investigating the problems and resolving them.
- Maintain information security related to ADIB, throughout the period of employment.
- Maintain risk free or controlled IT environment at ADIB.
Who Can Apply?
Qualification
- BSc in Computer Engineering or Higher Degree in relevant Technology field.
Experience
- 8 years’ experience in relevant field.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Project management.
- Applications Maintenance and support.
- Problem Solving skills.
- Knowledge of Middleware and integration.
- Excellent Knowledge in Java, .Net, SQL DB and Oracle preferred.
- Knowledge in Cloud Applications preferred.
- Banking experience knowledge.
