Assistant RM – FI Emirates Islamic Bank Dubai

Assistant RM – FI at Emirates Islamic Bank Dubai is responsible to drive revenue growth and profitability by managing a portfolio of Financial Institutions clients, ensuring high quality service delivery and identifying cross selling opportunities.

Responsibilities of Assistant RM – FI

Revenue Generation

• Limit approval and utilization in select markets.
• Coordinating with FI counterparties to book both funded and non-funded income.
• Generate skim income through sell down activities.

KYC Support

• Arranging the documents to onboard new counterparties.
• Coordinating with compliance and governance teams to onboard new customers as per applicable internal policy.
• Providing KYC documents to FI counterparties to complete their KYC processes on Emirates Islamic.
• Responding to KYC queries/questionnaire with coordination with the compliance & governance teams.

Operations Support

• Book new transactions against the approved limits.
• Responding to correspondent bank queries related to payments with coordination with operations team.
• Approach correspondent bank and resolve the payment and trade issues/delay/non receipt faced by Business / Operations team.
• Support other business units in respect to their trade finance requirements vis à vis other correspondent banks.
• Reconciliation of rebate entries and clearing correspondent charges.
• Providing operational support in opening and closing nostro and vostro accounts.
• Preparing credit memo to arrange necessary approvals for FI counterparties.
• Providing support on Cash Management Business.

Requirements of Assistant RM – FI

• Bachelor’s degree within the fields of Finance, Banking, Business Administration.
• Preferably 3 years of experience in banking roles serving FI customers.
• Experience to manage FI relationship and resolve their queries.
