Job Description
Hotels/Restaurant industry is looking for a dedicated and detail oriented individuals to join their team as a Cleaners/Janitors. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for their facility, ensuring a positive experience for both staff and visitors.
Responsibilities of Cleaners
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with established procedures.
- Dust and wipe surfaces to maintain a tidy and presentable space.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a secure and healthy environment.
Requirements of Cleaners
- Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
- Previous experience of less than 1 year in janitorial or cleaning roles is an asset.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Excellent communication skills.
