Job Purpose of A Broker
- Demonstrated full knowledge and responsibility for servicing ADIB Securities Trading Desk clients.
- Cost-effective and timely execution of transactions for publicly traded securities.
- Provide clients with accurate and unbiased information about stocks and market conditions.
- Coordinate with operations on settlement of trades.
- Ensure client confidentiality is preserved and reports to the desk manager or to the GM any suspicious trading activities.
Job Duties of A Broker
- Ensure to attend clients trading calls, orders and queries during the call center working hours.
- Ensure that client’s orders are handled in a timely and professional manner.
- Comply with the relevant trading policies and procedures and followed concerning all aspects of trading.
- Monitor and review the quality of all the executions, both internal and external, to ensure that all order tickets are included.
- Adhere to the Group and the ADIBS policies and procedures.
- Maintain the necessary knowledge of all available trading venues, including crossing networks etc.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with UAE Brokerage Agent(s).
- Actively, engages on an immediate basis any resolution of out-trades or other trading disagreements with counterparties to minimize exposure and cost to ADIB Securities.
- Solves problems and makes business decisions to carry out job duties, along with taking necessary courses of action.
- Keeping clients’ relationships active all the time, through meeting with potential and existing clients regularly, ensures customer satisfaction.
- Maintains an ongoing call program with large and profitable relationships to enhance the department income.
- Follow up with new leads and referrals and proactively identify new leads.
- Maintain a database for each client, each client’s brokerage needs, and the calls made on each client, and the follow up action required.
- Occasionally provides regular feedback to the chief dealer on market conditions.
- On a quarterly basis, provide reports to the manager in consistency with the Annual Plan.
- Monitor progress towards achievement of objectives.
- Fosters an atmosphere of teamwork and cohesiveness with ADIB securities team members and Private Banking departments and the overall organization.
- Give feedback about client demand for investment and brokerage products.
- Alert the manager when new products or brokerage improvements are needed.
Who Can Apply?
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
Experience
- Minimum of 2-4 years’ direct and progressive experience in GCC and other regional equity markets.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Strong time-management and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Skills and relevant investment databases.
- Fluent in English, and Arabic.
- A strong motivation to succeed.
