Job Description
In Sharjah, there is a vacancy in the Retail sector for a Sales Associates. The job purpose for sales associates in a Sharjah supermarket is to provide exceptional customer service, drive sales, and maintain the store’s standards.
Responsibilities of Sales Associates
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide product information and help customers in making purchasing decisions.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point of sale system.
- Ensure shelves are stocked and merchandise is well organized.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the store.
Requirements of Sales Associates
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience of 1-2 years as a Sales Associate or in retail.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic retail environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and weekends.
