Key Activities Of Shamil Administrator

  • Retrieves vehicle particulars from the system.
  • Includes calling motorists by displaying token number on the LCD / LED display units, retrieving test results and measurements, and vehicle file and the motorist’s personal data from police gateway.
  • Interviews motorists to verify vehicle certificates. Includes obtaining and checking the vehicle details, entering particulars of insurance policies, manual test certificate and any other personal papers or required documents into the Centre’s system.
  • Issues reports to the motorists for vehicles which have failed the test, and for any vehicles which have passed and where the motorist has requested.
  • Receives all fees required for tests, Traffic fines and municipality offences, issuing receipts. Includes accepting payments by cash, Emarat cards and bank accepted credit/debit cards.
  • Ensures that all records pertaining to motorist’s details and car insurance are correct.
  • Includes updating vehicle, personnel and insurance information of motorists, vehicles and insurance as and where needed.
  • Issues Vehicle Registration Certificate to motorists.
  • Includes handing over the vehicle keys to the motorists, receiving complaints and customer ideas for any improvements in the registration/testing processes.
  • Ensures that all cash payments and any dispatched POS transactions are correctly maintained the records and handed over for checking to the supervisor and/or assigned personnel from the Bank or Head Office.
  • Reports any operational problems in system processing or workflow.
  • Suggests to the Centre Supervisor any necessary modifications to resolve them or alternative solutions for further enhancement.
  • Performs other similar or related duties assigned by supervisor when and as required.

Eligibility Requirements

The minimum requirements for the role of Shamil Administrator are as under:

  • Traffic Legalities.
  • High Secondary School / 3 years.
  • 1 years minimum.
  • Preferably has experience in MOI Traffic system.
