Guest Services Executive Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Dubai

An opportunity has arisen for a Guest Services Assistant to join Telecommunications Department in Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort at E12 Saadiyat Island, Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This is an Entry level full time job. For this job the salary ranges from 3000-6000 AED/month which may be slightly negotiable during interview process.

Responsibilities of Guest Services Assistant

  • To update guest details in the Opera (PMS) guest profile.
  • To maintain and update all departmental training records as per Jumeirah Policy.
  • To ensure that all guests receive a warm friendly welcome creating positive first impression of the hotel and its team.
  • To ensure that all queries and requests are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner.
  • To have a high level of product knowledge of the property and its facilities as well as the city of Abu Dhabi.
  • Ensure that Wake up Calls are set correctly and punctually and that any failures are follow up.
  • Ensure that all faxes (especially for guests) are collect by the concierge and deliver immediately and they are record properly
  • To answer all phone calls according to the Jumeirah company wide standards
  • Ensure that guest messages in Opera are type correctly following the Jumeirah standard.
  • Ensure that all operators are aware of the resort’s fire, safety and emergency procedures.
  • Regular update the digital phone book on the operate front office system.
  • To ensure that the Front Office Manager is update and informed of all feedback received from the guests.
  • Any other duties as may reasonably be request by the management.

Requirements of Guest Services Assistant

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in Front Office/Telecommunications in luxury environment.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Familiarity with LQA and Forbes standards is prefer.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic, Chinese or Russian speaker is prefer.
  • Communication skills
  • Microsoft Software skills
