Responsibilities of Deputy Boutique Manager

  • To assist the Boutique Manager in executing strategies to increase store traffic; optimize profitability; develop high potential customers; Promote brand awareness, establish market/store presence and capture competitive market share.
  • To work with the Boutique Manager to lead the team in executing an exceptional customer service experience and create memorable moments by exceeding their expectations; building meaningful and lasting customer relationships and increase and retain customer loyalty.
  • To monitor and track all customer daily appointments and be present during appointments to ensure the most elevated customer experience is being offered.
  • To work with the Boutique Manager to drive and maximize sales performance of the team to consistently achieve the overall sales budget objectives while ensuring operational integrity and monitoring monthly profitably.
  • To demonstrate sales leadership by playing an active role on the sales floor through customer engagement with VICs
  • To assist the Boutique Manager in Developing and implementing sales action plans in collaboration with the Location Manager to enhance sales for the various brand/product lines.
  • To work with the Boutique Manager to communicate company set KPI’s; identifies and implements strategies to ensure performance standards are met for all the KPI’s.
  • To analyze the store’s monthly performance, reporting current business trend to cover every aspect of your store.

What you will do more

  • To identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapports with potential and existing customers. Reports on product performance, buying trends and customer needs.
  • To conduct regular stock takes and store operations audits to ensure compliance with company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
  • To develop and maintains a system for monitoring and controlling inventory levels that result in minimal shrinkage. Resolves discrepancies identified in the inventory report.
  • To conduct on spot coaching to ensure consistent customer experience and offer immediate correction of behaviors.
  • To ensure a consistent and effective in-store onboarding experience for all new hires.

Requirements for Role of Deputy Boutique Manager

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, retail management, marketing, or a related field.
  • 4-year experience in retail store operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role in luxury environment.
  • Previous experience with jewellery brands (mandatory).

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build working relationships.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Proficiency in English language (mandatory).
