Librarian

A librarian is a professional who is responsible for managing library resources and providing assistance to library users. Librarians work in a variety of settings, such as public libraries, academic libraries, and specialized libraries.

The role of a librarian includes selecting and acquiring library materials, organizing and cataloging materials, providing reference services to library users, and managing library operations and staff. Librarians may also be responsible for developing programs and events, promoting library services and resources, and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the field.
