Responsibilities of Workshop Controller

• Coordinate and prioritize workflow within the workshop to ensure timely completion of all service and repair tasks.
• Monitor clocking in and out procedures to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Allocate jobs to technicians based on their skill level and workload, optimizing efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor the progress of work on each vehicle and provide support and guidance to technicians as needed.
• Liaise with the Service Advisor to ensure clear communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and any additional work required.
• Conduct quality control checks on completed work to ensure it meets company standards and customer expectations.
• Prepare reports on workshop performance, including productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction metrics.

Elgibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of a Workshop Controller is as under:

• High School graduated or educational courses.
• 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar role within an automotive service center or dealership environment.

Skills Desired

• Proficiency in computer software programs, including MS Office and workshop management systems.
• Preferred to have experience in Autoline or key loop DMS.Ability to plan and control, product knowledge and administrative skills.
• Team management abilities, with experience supervising a team of technicians.
• Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
