The Arbor School seeks a special individual for an exciting opportunity that has arisen within our school. The successful candidate will play a key role in fulfilling the school’s ecological and sustainability vision, as well as challenging students to fulfil their potential within the academic disciplines. The Arbor School are seeking a talented and dedicated Whole School PE Teacher – Outdoor and Adventurous Activities Lead to join our successful PE and Sports team. This role combines high-quality Physical Education teaching across the whole school (KS1–KS4) with a specialism in Outdoor and Adventurous Activities (OAA).
We are looking for an experienced Whole School PE Teacher – Outdoor and Adventurous Activities Lead with a passion for the subject and a broad subject knowledge. The successful applicant will be able to teach students of all abilities as well as demonstrate a proven track record of securing outstanding student outcomes in both physical and academic development. To ensure the continued development of our sports programme, we are looking to recruit a candidate with expertise in athletics, netball and cheerleading.

JOB SUMMARY
The successful candidate will be proficient and experienced in teaching Physical Education and Lead Outdoor Education which is a cornerstone of our ecological and sustainability ethos, supporting students to develop healthy, active lifestyles while cultivating resilience, teamwork and a deep connection to the natural world.
Oversee and deliver the Duke of Edinburgh International Award and Contribute to a thriving enrichment and sport programme.
As a school that prides itself on a vibrant and inclusive sporting culture, the role carries a clear expectation to contribute fully to our extra-curricular programme, including coaching Primary and Secondary squads, supporting fixtures and competitions, and helping to grow participation and performance across the school community.
