Waiter/Waitress Khaleej times

Hospitality Industry Retail Industry presently has a job opening for eligible candidate for position of a Waiter/Waitress. This job opportunity was posted on Khaleej Times on 12 January 2023. Waiter/Waitress assist restaurant patrons by noting their order, serving tables their requested meals and preparing bills at the end of the table’s meal. Waiter/Waitress are also responsible for asking customers if they are satisfied with their meal and providing any assistance, if the customer is not satisfied.

Duties of Waiter/Waitress

• Provide knowledgeable, friendly, professional and efficient F&B Service to all guests ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
• Maintain efficient workflow by adhering to the sequence of service and all time frames and standards.
• Identify and take all opportunities to enhance the quality of service (up selling, guest recognition).
• Maintain good knowledge of the menu to answer questions the guests may have.
• Accurately take & process orders.
• Serve & clear food and drinks within required time frames.

Requirements for Role of Waiter/Waitress

• Minimum a High school. Certification or diploma in hospitality is a plus.
• Less then 1 year of restaurant experience or in similar field.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Must possess interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of food and beverage applications.
• Good time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
