This role bridges the gap between sales staff and store management by coordinating shop floor activities, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring maximum floor coverage during peak trading periods. You will support the team in building long‑term client relationships using clienteling tools, while also supervising opening/closing procedures, POS transactions, and inventory functions. Consequently, your leadership presence and sales coaching directly impact business objectives, KPIs, and the overall client experience across Al‑Futtaim’s retail network.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team in building long‑term client relationships by leveraging clienteling tools. Enhance the “client state of mind” among all sales staff.
• Ensure extensive product knowledge within the team. Support store management in achieving business objectives, including reporting, sales analysis, and product training.
• Effectively oversee the shop floor to guarantee maximum coverage during peak periods. Act as a role model, demonstrating sales leadership to the entire team.
• Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures. These include counting register funds, completing bank deposits, opening and closing registers, and securing the facility.
• Accurately process all POS transactions and inventory functions such as transfers, receiving, repairs, and damages to maintain inventory integrity.
• Ensure adherence to loss prevention policies and operational procedures. Effectively resolve customer complaints, exchanges, and inquiries.
• Liaise between staff and management regarding potential performance concerns. Propose and implement action plans to deliver efficient store processes and organization.
• Educate the team on sales plans, personal sales goals, and KPIs. Act as an ambassador of the brand, culture, quality, and know‑how while maintaining store presentation standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred. 6 months to 1 year of retail or hospitality industry experience, preferably in a senior sales or supervisor role.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication and client relationship‑building skills are essential.
• Operational skills including POS systems and inventory management. Good command of business English, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, and SAP. Strong detailed report analysis skills are required.
• Strong level of numeracy and literacy skills. Ability to analyze and report on sales performance and initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve customer complaints and act as a liaison between staff and management regarding performance concerns.
• Commitment to adhering to loss prevention policies and operational procedures.
