Technical Solutions Manager (Merchant Services) Full-time

Guildhall is currently recruiting an experienced Technical Solutions Manager to join our team for an innovative Fintech Company in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in online payments, payment gateway management, and financial technology, ensuring seamless integration of technical solutions with business objectives while optimizing transaction success rates and operational efficiency.

Job Description

• Maintain the stability and high performance of the payment gateway, ensuring continuous uptime and optimal payment success rates.
• Oversee network and payment success rates, maintaining KPIs of Transaction Processing Volume (TPV) and success rates.
• Develop and enhance the payment gateway product to meet evolving merchant demands.
• Document all changes, customizations, and compliance logs, ensuring regulatory accuracy and knowledge transfer.
• Collect and integrate business requirements from finance, partnerships, risk, and customer service departments.
• Engage and manage the primary technical provider SaaS platform, committing to roadmap and business impact objectives.
• Own and manage technical change Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Provide support for technical integrations from the provider side to the SaaS platform and troubleshoot merchant-side integration issues.
• Train new graduates and team members, providing comprehensive product knowledge.
• Oversee business intelligence and analytics, developing automation solutions and standardized reporting.
• Design and implement data dashboards by connecting with real-time gateway APIs.
• Plan and implement disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Work closely with the Middle East Payment Product Manager to ensure seamless regional operations.
• Provide technical assistance to merchants during payment gateway integration.
• Monitor transaction errors and discrepancies, investigating and following up on behalf of merchants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the online payments industry.
• Proven experience in payment aggregation, pay-ins, and pay-outs.
• Experience with payment gateway operations and managing technical providers.
• Experience in merchant operations, handling transaction discrepancies, and maintaining SLAs
• Proficient in S2S payment API integrations.
• Strong understanding of Java-based payment API coding frameworks and languages.
• Familiarity with payment experiences rendered via web and mobile JavaScript SDKs.
• Experience deploying merchant solutions on Apple Pay.
• Demonstrated experience in integrating MPGS, CyberSource Direct API, as well as popular local wallet or Buy Now Pay Later methods.
• Ability to design and implement data dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Knowledge of real-time gateway APIs and data visualization.
• Proficiency in using no-code platforms like MAKE and Bubble.io for automation.
• Excellent proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Mandarin and English.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively in both languages.
