Team Leader in Engineering Specialized Services at Flydubai will manage the day-to-day activities of all D-Rated shops, to ensure all component inspection activities are carried out in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner in accordance with relevant regulatory and flydubai requirements in support of the fleet size operation. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 7000-15000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Team Leader

• Manages and supervises full documentation of all specialized tasks in line with scope of approval to ensure compliance with audit requirements for maintaining the shop approval.
• Manages and controls the workshop staff roster by always ensuring adequate staffing levels and ascertain that the staff overtime is within acceptable levels.
• Oversees compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, safety standards, and company policies, while also ensuring the maintenance and accessibility of all procedures, documents, and forms related to flydubai Engineering Workshops, in order to successfully maintain the company/shop approval.
• Ensures that all staff training requirements, rostering, and training schedule are fulfill.
• Ensures that the working conditions of all workshop facilities meet relevant regulatory and flydubai standards to prevent any potential safety hazards.
• Conducts regular competence assessments for all shop staff to ensure ongoing skill developments, mandatory qualifications and trainings are valid/current.
• Ensures the smooth and efficient functioning of quality control process, while providing comprehensive support for the relevant QC program and audits.
• Oversees all maintenance and inspection activities conduct by staff to ensure compliance in terms of documentation & tool control.
• Acts as a focal point for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
• Ensures the planning and allocation of scheduled and non-scheduled tasks to relevant staff to ascertain the completion of task in a safe and efficient manner.
• Participates in creating or updating of company procedures and forms, followed by submitting them for further review and approval.
• Oversees the housekeeping standards within the flydubai Workshop Maintenance Department are well maintained to avoid any potential hazards.
• Ascertains that all certification tasks are carried out within the limitations of the company issued Approval to avoid any potential audit findings

Requirements for Role of Team Leader

• Bachelor’s Degree (3+ years) in the field of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Aeronautics.
• EN4179 approved NDT Level 2 Certification in Ultrasonic Testing, Eddy Current Testing, Penetrant Testing & Magnetic Particle Testing.
• Valid UAE Driving License.
• Minimum of 5 years of Non-destructive Testing working in aerospace field.
