Job Description
Retail Industry presently has a job opening for eligible candidate for position of a Supermarket Cashier. The selected candidate will be responsible for processing transactions in an accurate and timely manner using various modes of payments as per market policies and procedures. Responsibilities of Supermarket Cashier
- Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately.
- Scan and bag items, provide receipts, and process payments.
- Greet customers and assist with inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organised checkout area.
- Handle returns and exchanges following company policies.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient store operations.
- Maintaining financial accuracy and positive customer experiences.
- Conduct security checks for the currency when required.
- Perform any other finance or account related duty as assigned by the higher authorities or which may fall within the scope of job work.
Requirements of Supermarket Cashier
The eligibility requirements for role are as under:
- High School Diploma.
- 1-2 years of previous experience as a Cashier in a retail or similar setting.
