About the Role

The Student Money Support Officer will manage registrations, attendance confirmations, and changes of circumstance while working accurately with funding data. Furthermore, you will provide clear, empathetic guidance to students navigating funding processes and contribute to continuous process improvement. Moreover, this role requires confidence using Microsoft 365 tools including Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Copilot to streamline workflows and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities for Student Money Support Officer at University of Strathclyde Business School UAE Abu Dhabi

• Manage student registrations, attendance confirmations, and changes of circumstance
• Process and maintain accurate funding data and student financial records
• Provide clear and empathetic guidance to students on funding processes
• Support students in accessing scholarships, bursaries, and hardship support
• Use Microsoft 365 tools to streamline workflows and maintain records
• Collaborate with colleagues across Student Experience and Information Services
• Contribute to continuous improvement of funding-related processes
• Work with external partners to ensure processes remain accurate and student-centred
• Support the administration of student funding programmes and initiatives
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information appropriately

Requirements

• Strong transferable skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confidence using digital tools, particularly Microsoft 365 suite
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an empathetic approach
• Willingness to learn in a dynamic policy environment
• Experience in student support, administration, or financial services is desirable
