Storekeeper Required in Dubai for Hotels/Restaurant Industry

Hotels/Restaurant industry is currently seeking a meticulous and organized individual to join their team as a Storekeeper. A Storekeeper will play a vital role in managing and maintaining their inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and facilitating the efficient operation of the store.

Responsibilities of Storekeeper

• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming merchandise and supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions using computerized systems.
• Perform regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of products to prevent damage or spoilage.
• Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the storage area.
• Collaborate with purchasing and other departments to coordinate stock replenishment.
• Generate reports on inventory status and consumption as needed.
• Follow established safety and security procedures in handling stored items.

Requirements of Storekeeper

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant certification or training in inventory management is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Proven experience of less than 1 year as a storekeeper or in a similar role.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (if applicable).
