Job Description
Specialist Cloud Platform at Flydubai will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions for their organization. Candidate will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of their cloud infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency, security, and scalability. Expertise in various cloud technologies and services will drive the organization’s cloud strategy, enabling seamless integration and deployment of applications and services. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 20000-45000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of Specialist Cloud Platform
- Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure components (compute, storage, networking) using leading cloud service providers AWS, and OCI.
- Implement best practices for resource provisioning, monitoring, and cost optimization to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and security enhancements to maintain a robust and resilient cloud environment.
- Application Deployment and Management:
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage applications in the cloud environment.
- Optimize application performance and availability through efficient cloud configurations and monitoring practices.
- Implement automation and orchestration tools to streamline application deployment processes.
- Cloud Security and Compliance:
- Enforce security measures and best practices to protect cloud resources and data from potential threats.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct periodic security assessments and implement necessary improvements to maintain a secure cloud environment.
- Cloud Architecture and Integration:
- Develop cloud architecture designs that align with business requirements and future scalability.
- Integrate cloud solutions with existing on-premises infrastructure and third-party services.
- Implement and maintain cloud-based APIs and services to enable seamless data exchange and connectivity.
- Troubleshooting and Support:
- Provide technical support to internal teams and stakeholders regarding cloud-related issues and inquiries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and other cloud-related challenges.
- Cloud Cost Management:
- Monitor cloud resource usage and implement strategies to optimize costs.
- Analyze billing data and identify opportunities to minimize expenses without compromising performance.
Requirements for Role of Specialist Cloud Platform
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) – 9
- Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree) – 11
- Proven experience in designing and managing cloud-based solutions in a production environment.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure setup, configuration, and management.
- Required certifications – AWS architect / SYS Ops
- Preferred certification – Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
