Duties of Specialist Category Management

• Support execution of strategic and operational sourcing initiatives.
• Help in gathering and collating supply market information, preparing RFP documents, collate clarifications from suppliers.
• Negotiate with suppliers and obtain approval of finalized contracts / purchase orders as per the approved delegation of authority.
• Set up contracts and Complex PO for strategic sourcing initiatives (as required) in Oracle.
• Perform any other duty as assigned by the higher authorities or which may fall with in the scope of job work.

Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of Specialist Category Management are as under:

• Educated to a Bachelor’s Degree in or related to Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement.
• 3-5 years of overall experience, with 6 months to 3 years of relevant experience.

Skills And knowledge Desired

• Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Oracle), and Advanced Excel.
• Industry knowledge of relevant categories.
• Hard working and dedicated.
