About the Role

The Sonographer at King’s College Hospital London UAE will be responsible for carrying out diagnostic ultrasound examinations across various specialties including general, abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging. Furthermore, you will work closely with Radiologists and other clinicians to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Moreover, this position focuses on delivering an exceptional patient experience while contributing to accurate diagnoses and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities for Sonographer at King’s College Hospital London UAE Dubai

• Perform high-quality ultrasound scans in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards
• Assess image quality and provide preliminary observations to support diagnostic decisions
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process clearly and compassionately
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation of findings
• Ensure equipment is used safely, maintained properly, and faults are reported promptly
• Collaborate with the wider radiology team and participate in service improvement initiatives
• Support training and mentoring of junior sonography staff
• Contribute to quality assurance programs and departmental audits

Requirements

• Degree or MSc in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound
• Valid DHA, DOH, or MOH license
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in a hospital or clinic setting
• Proficiency in a range of ultrasound specialties with multi-modality experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a strong patient-focused approach
• Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems and digital imaging workflows
