About The Role
The School Social Worker plays a vital role in promoting the academic success, emotional wellbeing, and social development of students from FS1 to Year 13. Working in close partnership with students, families, teachers, and external agencies. The School Social Worker provides assessment, intervention, and family support services to ensure that students have access to safe, supportive, and nurturing home environments that enhance their ability to thrive at school.
This position is particularly focused on strengthening school-home collaboration, helping families access community resources, and addressing social, emotional, and environmental factors that may affect student learning, attendance, and wellbeing.
The School Social Worker supports the school’s commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and student-centered practice in accordance with the regulations and guidance of the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge and relevant UAE child protection laws.
