Site Civil Engineer Emirates Islamic Bank

Emirates Islamic Bank is presently hiring suitably qualified and experienced candidate for the job role of Site Civil Engineer. The selected candidate will form part of Bank’s engineering unit, which is a unique Technical unit of the bank which evaluates the property financed by the Bank, and Managing & Supervising the construction of Bank properties and Bank finance properties including Escrow Account properties. The unit is playing major role in Management of Home Finance deals. The unit also contributes to the bank income considerably by Fees for valuations a payment certifications.

Responsibilities of Site Civil Engineer

• The job holder is carrying out verifying the documents received from the IBHF sales unit and HF customers & contractors.
• The job holder is doing documentation and preparation of reports & contract proposals and contractor payments to be done on time.
• Arrange for site visit schedules by liaising with Customer / contractor
• Wherever site visit required for Property Valuations
• The job holder’s task is to visit the site and verify the site status and report the Senior Manager along with site photos, Keeping up site visit records
• Receiving Progress Payment request from contractor & verify the documents as per requirements.
• Managing Payment advise and data entry, including approval for Engineer, operations unit, data entered for MIS
• Open new file for each approvals and tracking numbers
• Record file keeping for future reference
• In case of customer / contractor disputes to take necessary action to solve the issue
• Issue any legal Notification to Contractor wherever it is necessary.
• Contractor / customer payment settlements in coordination with Project Consultant and the bank.

Requirements of Site Civil Engineer

The requirements for the job role of Site Civil Engineer are as under:

• Minimum diploma or degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years in Constructional contracts documentations experience.
• Fresh graduates will be considered.

• Knowledge of contractor payments, will be an add.
• Excellent Problem solving skills.
• Good time management skills.
