Senior Specialist, Procurement Operations Abu Dhabi, AE Full-time

This role manages the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle from award through execution, amendments, renewals, and close‑out for a government or semi‑government entity in Abu Dhabi. You will draft, review, and administer procurement contracts and framework agreements, therefore ensuring alignment with procurement strategies, commercial objectives, and risk management requirements. Consequently, your expertise in contract compliance, SLA monitoring, and dispute resolution directly supports high‑value procurement operations within the UAE/GCC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle from contract award through execution, amendments, renewals, and close‑out. Therefore, maintain accurate records within the contract management system.
• Draft, review, and administer procurement contracts, framework agreements, amendments, and all contract types in line with approved templates and policies.
• Ensure contractual terms align with procurement strategies, commercial objectives, and risk management requirements.
• Monitor contract compliance, deliverables, milestones, and service level agreements (SLAs) when required. Support dispute resolution, claims management, and contract interpretation.
• Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal governance requirements.
• Work closely with buyers, legal team, end users, suppliers, and different stakeholders to finalise contracts.
• Regularly review, update, and enhance contract templates to reflect changes in legislation, organisational policies, risk appetite, and market best practices.
• Provide analytical reporting, risk assessment, and document control for all procurement contract activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain operations within the UAE or GCC region.
• Demonstrated experience managing or supporting procurement contracts in a government, semi‑government, or large corporate environment in Abu Dhabi or the UAE.
• Strong understanding of procurement policies, compliance requirements, and best practices.
• Experience in maintaining and enhancing contract templates and standard terms and conditions.
• Experience working with ERP and contract management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Experience handling high‑value or complex contracts is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Law, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications are highly desirable: CIPS, WorldCC, CPSM, CPP, or equivalent.
• Strong contract drafting, review, and template enhancement skills. Sound understanding of UAE market procurement practices.
• Ability to interpret contractual clauses and assess commercial and legal risk. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
