Job Description
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: We are seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Senior Specialist for DC Ops & Transport to become a member of our EMC SCM Team. This diverse role will see you responsible for variety of tasks primarily managing the ECOM Operations, end-to-end from a SCM DC Operations perspective.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Specialist
- To support and lead the ongoing eCom DC operations in UAE and cross border shipping from UAE.
- Key focusing and coordination on Last mile delivery performance across GCC region & NLE markets for eCom channel.
- Working closely with teams to ensure Global COTIF & 3DD are achieved.
- Plan and coordinate the day-to-day DC Operations tasks: inbound, pick and pack, documentation, dispatches, & Carrier Performances.
- Supporting decision making by performing analytics and creating visibility of information.
- Daily, Weekly & Monthly Operational Reviews (DOR-WOR-MOR)
- Continuously Seeking area of improvements in terms of utilization, frequency, and lead times.
- Plan and coordinate Reverse Logistics tasks, Returns to DC & maintaining zero pendency.
- Maintaining, monitoring, and reporting KPI’s to senior management.
- Day to Day Problem solving, solutions and process management between Adidas DC & Last mile logistics Carriers.
- Support to Senior DC Operation Manager with other Projects and DC activities.
- To maintain zero-order backlogs, DC capacity planning, last mile commercials, and eCom related SCM operations from a end-to-end perspective • Manage and monitor to ensure Inventory synchronization across B2C channels (SAP x WMS)
- Day-to-Day monitoring of inventory sync dashboard to ensure zero NIL Picks / Cancellations due to shortages.
- Managing carrier’s invoices, monthly finance provisioning, L01 yearly budgeting & exercising RFC Vs Actuals.
- KPI’s: • Global COTIF • 3DD • DC & Last mile SLA • Bridging Tech Architectural gaps • Inventory Synchronization • Process enhancements & efficiencies • Managing Cancellations / NIL Picks
- Key Relationships: • eCom Post order Ops • 3PL Partner • Last mile carriers • Platform Operations • Consumer Experience • Customer Service B2C • Finance • Inventory Controller
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of B2C business
- Strong communication skills • Team Player with high level of collaboration
- Excellent knowledge of Supply Chain and/or Logistics • A high level of problem-solving ability
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to develop long lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to contribute to a high-performance team environment where efficiency is measured
- Experience in working under pressure to meet deadlines and conflicting priorities
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential.
- Strong ERP/SAP knowledge are essential
- Team player with high planning, organizing and reporting abilities.
- Ability to manage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Business and administration, Supply Chain or Logistics.
- Minimum 2-3 years of overall work experience in ecommerce / digital business & supply chain or Logistics.
