Responsibilities of Senior Specialist B&M eCom EMC
- Support the implementation of key strategic priorities in line with the company and the Market Merchandising framework.
- Develop a product selection that will maximize sales, gross margin through proposed range, before every season Sell In for eCom.
- Actively drive process of ranging, execution and assortment planning strategies for Ecommerce platform across EMC (Emerging Markets Central) region.
- Proactively provide relevant in depth analysis to support the eCom B&M team in their buying decisions during season (ABO’s, ISC’s).
- Set up & analyze key merchandising reports to understand the category performance by country.
- Analyze every aspect of best sellers and worst sellers, in season stock cover management and in season reactivity and provide recommendations based on analysis.
- Recommend end of season management plan to Management.
- Drive cross functional alignment with Retail, Marketing and other departments to ensure excellence execution & alignment of Omni channel experience for consumers.
- Contribute in the building and signing off of OTB for eCom channel.
- Prepare reports for effective pre season planning.
- Leverage relationship with cross functional teams (e.g. Buying/Planning, Marketing, Supply Chain, CX, Digital ops) to ensure a smooth, accurate and punctual flow of processes across these functions.
Requirements for Senior Specialist B&M eCom EMC
- Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing or related field.
- Experience in eCom is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years total merchandising experience.
Skills & Abilities Desired
- Broad & deep knowledge of merchandising and retail supply and operations topics and broad knowledge of other functional areas involved in Allocation & Trading process.
- Proficiency on MS Office Applications Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.
- Knowledge in Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, MicroStrategy, Power BI or other tools is a plus.
- Understanding of Merchandise & Planning Management.
- Ability to think strategically, synthesize complex data and develop innovative solutions.
- Structured, organised & process oriented.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
