Job Description
Senior Role in Marina Services at Emaar will be responsible to Build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders in the marine industry, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, port authorities, suppliers and community groups.
About Senior Role in Marina Services
- Complaint Resolution: Capable of addressing and resolving member complaints adeptly.
- Reporting: Must be on time and punctual in the submission of financial reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Decision-Making: The ability to make informed decisions and adopt a proactive approach.
- Client Account Management: Proficiency in managing accounts of high-net-worth individuals.
- Financial Expertise: A strong understanding of financial processes, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements, along with handling cash, bank transfer & cheque transactions.
- Marina Industry Network: Must have a well-established network knowledge within the marina industry.
Requirements for Senior Role in Marina Services
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in hospitality management, marine operations or related fields.
- Certification as an IMM or AMM from The Yacht Harbor Association is required.
- A minimum of 3 years at a management level in a marina-related administrative role.
- At least 10 experience of leading a team, that includes both administrative and front office teams.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Revenue Generation: Skill in planning strategies to enhance revenue and continuously assessing market competition.
- Language Proficiency: Knowledge of additional languages, particularly Arabic or French, will be considered an advantage.
- Negotiation Skills: Demonstrates the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Organizational Skills: Competence in organizing, sorting, and maintaining a customer database efficiently.
- Customer Service: A strong basis in hospitality, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
