Senior Project Manager – Building Full-time

Parsons is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead diverse projects that deliver innovative and practical solutions for communities. The role involves managing project scope, performance, and objectives, while aligning with client requirements, contract terms, and company policies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acts as the primary Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors throughout project execution.
• Negotiates scope changes with the client and key subcontractors and supports efforts to secure additional work.
• Ensures follow-up on all project-related instructions and commitments.
• Oversees the development of key project plans, including Project Execution, Health and Safety, and QA/QC plans.
• Establishes project requirements and ensures all deliverables meet defined standards.
• Manages all technical, commercial, financial, and administrative aspects of the project.
• Assigns responsibilities based on team members’ strengths and supports their performance and development.
• Develops and manages project budgets, schedules, and execution plans with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitors progress to ensure project objectives are met or exceeded.
• Identifies risks to cost or schedule and implements corrective action plans.
• Promotes quality and excellence through adherence to QA processes.
• Leads regular project review meetings to monitor performance and define action items.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical/business field.
• Minimum of 15+ years’ project management experience, including at least 5 years on buildings and residential projects.
• Broad technical and business knowledge.
• Strong ability to manage projects, engage with clients, and contribute hands-on to technical aspects.
• Thorough understanding of industry standards and best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership capability, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
