Job Description
As a Senior Communications Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering brand communication strategies. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of comprehensive communication plans. The role involves collaborating cross functionally with all Marketing verticals, and a high level of alignment with brand managers/ business leads. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional strategic thinking, social media content creation and planning, influencer and media relations skills to drive impactful communication strategies.
Accountabilities
- Work closely with brand managers to create communication plans that support product launches, campaigns, always on strategies and other business initiatives.
- Social Media Management & Strategy: Lead the strategy, execution, content creation and calendar planning for social media channels across multiple brands. Develop engaging campaigns and drive online engagement to increase brand visibility and foster community growth. Track performance and adjust strategies to optimize results across platforms.
- Influencer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with influencers and content creators. Identify and collaborate with influencers to amplify brand messaging and reach target audiences. Oversee influencer campaigns from ideation through execution and post-campaign analysis.
- Public Relations: Develop and manage media relations strategies to secure coverage, Build relationships with PR agency partners and industry contacts to increase brand visibility, and ensure positive brand representation
- Event Planning & Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute external events such as brand activations, experiential initiatives, trade shows, and media events. Ensure that these events align with brand messaging and drive meaningful interactions with customers, media, and stakeholders.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., brand, creative, strategy, media etc..) and external partners (agencies, vendors, etc.) to ensure consistent messaging and smooth execution of communication plans.
- Analytics & Reporting: Analyze the impact of external communications efforts, including media coverage, social media performance, and event success. Provide detailed reports and recommendations to brand managers and leadership teams to optimize future strategies.
People Management
- Direct Report: Provide mentorship and guidance to a junior communications team member. This includes overseeing their workload, offering constructive feedback, and fostering professional development.
- Team Collaboration: Work in tandem with other departments to ensure communication efforts are aligned with organizational priorities and goals.
- Leadership Development: Lead by example, create a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning.
Competencies
- Social Media Strategy & Execution: Expertise in managing and growing brand presence across multiple social media platforms Proficient in creating compelling content, community engagement, organize growth and paid media strategies to elevate brand visibility and drive engagement. Strong knowledge of social media analytics to track performance and refine strategies.
- Influencer Marketing & Relations: Proven experience in identifying, engaging, and managing relationships with influencers, content creators, and brand ambassadors. Skilled in developing influencer marketing campaigns that align with brand objectives and measuring their impact to ensure ROI. Ability to negotiate partnerships and manage collaborations from start to finish.
- Public Relations & Media Engagement: Expertise in developing and executing PR strategies to build and maintain a positive brand image. Ability to pitch stories and secure media coverage directly to media outlets or indirectly through agencies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Integrated Communications, with a proven track record in managing and executing successful campaigns across multiple channels.
- At least 2 years of experience in similar senior role, managing teams or projects.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) is a must. Arabic is a plus.
