Job Description

As the Senior Digital Designer at GMG, the role will be responsible for creating omnichannel digital creative assets across multiple online brands for GMG (Web / App/ Brick & Mortar). This position requires a high level of creativity, strategic thinking, and attention to detail. Candidate will design website layouts, digital ads, with knowledge to create for various online and offline touchpoints, while ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience that aligns with their brand and business goals. This role requires a unique blend of creative expertise and deep understanding of artificial intelligence. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 10000-20000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Senior Digital Designer

  • Brainstorm and develop creative concepts from scratch, formulating your creative ideas into brand campaign artwork for various touchpoints.
  • Design and produce online asset touchpoints, include onsite banners across all device types, paid ads, affiliate marketing and social media assets. In-store touchpoints, include point of Sale and Omnichannel digital communications.
  • Translate project requirements into visually stunning designs that align with brief objectives and deliverables.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Leverage your expertise in artificial intelligence to conceptualize and execute campaigns that harness the power of AI, ensuring seamless integration of technology and creativity.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and emerging AI trends and technologies. To keep their design capabilities competitive while exploring novel ways to incorporate them into creative strategies (Adobe Firefly, Mid journey, Runway Gen etc.)
  • Financial Performance:
  • Product: Measure the success of a campaign through CTR (Click Through Rate).
  • Online: Customer engagement measured by email open rate, CTR (Click Through Rate) Website/App.
  • Creative Process: Introduce ways of delivering creative assets leveraging new A.I technologies and workflows with minimal cost impact Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a deep understanding of brief requirements and fostering a collaborative and creative working environment.
  • Strong Time management while handling multiple projects concurrently, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met on time and shared accordingly
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to design executives to maintain consistently high-quality work and support their professional growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to deliver integrated and cohesive campaigns.

Functional/Technical Competencies

  • Needs to ensure brand consistency in design elements across various projects. And platforms and implement a metric to track the alignment of designs with established brand guidelines
  • Monitor adherence to deadlines and track the percentage of projects completed on or ahead of schedule.
  • Develop a metric to measure creativity in designs and promote a diverse range of creative solutions.
  • Evaluate the adoption of emerging design trends and technologies, ensure proficiency in design tools and software, and assess the integration of AI technologies to enhance the design process.
  • Implement a quality assurance metric to assess the accuracy and precision of design outputs. And track client feedback on the perceived quality of delivered designs.
  • Track participation in design-related training programs and evaluate the application of newly acquired skills in design projects.

Requirements for Role of Senior Digital Designer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital design, including creating web, mobile, and social media assets.
