Job Purpose of A Senior Corporate Medical Director
To provide input into clinical strategy formulation, lead the execution of the clinical services goals and objectives and to lead the improvement of clinical performance and clinical governance in all care settings including digital and virtual for the division.
Your Job Duties As A Senior Corporate Medical Director At Mediclinic Corporate Office Dubai (UAE)
- To lead and manage the department tea.
- To lead and monitor the operational execution of clinical services’ goals and objectives in line with group clinical strategy.
- Lead and monitor the improvement of clinical performance and governance in all care settings including digital and virtual.
- To design and drive division wide delivery of quality and patient safety measures required for regulatory compliance, audits, and related risk mitigation purposes.
- Manage and monitor medical legal complaints and implement corrective measures to prevent risk and drive patient safety.
- Building sustainable and productive relationships with key stakeholders critical for the execution of current and future business objectives.
- To provide clinical leadership support to the Chief Clinical Officer in the execution of clinical executive duties for the division.
Who Can Apply?
Qualification
- Medical degree with a post graduate speciality qualification recognised from an accredited institution.
- Post degree in healthcare management or business administration from an accredited institution will be advantageous.
Experience
- At least 8-10 years of experience as a consultant in clinical practice of which at least 5-8 years were in a senior leadership role responsible for Quality, Patient Safety, Clinical Governance and Clinical Operations.
Knowledge and Skills Desired
- Clinical Quality Improvement Science.
- Demonstrates solid understanding of the multi disciplinary clinical environment, systems and related processes.
- Commercial and business awareness / acumen.
- Demonstrates an understanding and application of relevant legislation within the healthcare industry.
