Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, including civil, structural, track works, bridges, tunnels, and stations
- Oversee contractors, subcontractors, and JV partners, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements
- Coordinate construction sequences with design teams and consultants, resolving technical and operational issues
- Monitor project progress, budgets, resources, and performance, including reporting and risk mitigation
- Approve subcontractor plans, facilitate coordination meetings, and ensure alignment with master schedules
- Ensure smooth integration between design, construction, and commissioning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 15 years of experience in construction management, including major civil works and rail projects
- Proven experience in joint venture (JV) project environments
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, complex interfaces, and multidisciplinary coordination
- Experience in the UAE or GCC region preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- High-speed rail, metro, or large transportation project experience
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and claims management
- Proficient in project monitoring tools, scheduling, and reporting
- Multinational project experience with complex stakeholder coordination
