Senior Analyst Systems & Applications DMCC Dubai

The primary objective of Senior Analyst Systems & Applications at DMCC in Uptown Tower Uptown Dubai PO Box 48800. Dubai, UAE will be to execute exchange IT operations by effectively monitoring the performance of EOS Trading Platform, Clearing and associate applications, FIX Empanelment, Functional & Technical support to members/ISVs/QVs on FIX & EMAPI protocols. The responsibilities include handling day to day activities and other scheduled tasks for smooth operation of IT department. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 10000-25000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Senior Analyst

• On boarding of Members, ISV’s and QVs on FIX 5.0 and EMAPI Protocol.
• Support to Member, ISVs on timely basis.
• Successful conducting of Internal & External Mock Trading involving Members, ISV’s and QVs.
• Provide support to the DGCX Help Desk, Surveillance and Clearing departments on their technical needs and maintenance of the application such as EOS Trader, EOS Admin and EOS Clear, Scila and Fee System.
• Developing action plans, schedules, presentations, status reports and other management communications and reporting e.g. Monthly MIS reports and department reports.
• Vendor interaction for troubleshooting or updates.
• Necessary Documentation and maintenance.
• Performing BOD and EOD Processes on timely manner and to ensure agreed uptime is met.
• Real-time monitoring of production and UAT systems to ensure availability of key process, corresponding hardware and layered software.
• Performing necessary scheduled tasks related to Trading, Clearing & RMS infrastructure (EOS) e.g. application log review.
• Successful planning, change and release management of EOS.
• EOS System upgrades, troubleshooting and co-ordination with CFT team for necessary support.
• Automation of manual processes to avoid human interference, errors and time saving by Scripting in Windows and Linux environment.
• Planning, installation and maintenance of UAT, internal & external TEST Environments and Shadow Environment.
• Fee system/application support and maintenance.
• As part of the IT team to ensure complete maintenance of Data Bases, log files, server space and server health maintenance.
• Data Base Administration (My SQL and MS SQL).
• Linux OS Support., Patches, software updates in all environments using RED HAT Satellite Server.

Requirements for Role of Senior Analyst

• Graduate in Computer Science/Electronics or equivalent.
• At least 4 years hands on experience on exchange technology platform.
• Sound knowledge and hands on experience of FIX Protocol.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Knowledge of exchange architecture, programming languages, databases and basic understanding on IT network concepts.
• Awareness of global financial markets.
• Java Applications.
• Redhat Linux Administration.
