Talabat is presently seeking an experienced and detail oriented Senior Analyst Rider/Operational Processes to join their team. The role holder will play a pivotal role in optimizing the operational processes that directly impact the riders. Also, drive documentation, development & streamlining of cross functional processes and systems within their dedicated function or department across the MENA Region. The incumbent will play a critical role in continuous process improvement and standardization, identifying root causes of issues and driving resolution while liaising between the business unit & other functions / departments.
Duties of Senior Analyst Rider Processes
Reporting to the regional director of Supply and Ops, this position will:
- Accountable for designing, re engineering, and changing business processes, procedures and policies with various departments to improve all rider touchpoints.
- Influence the quality of processes, SOPs, and Lean Six Sigma strategy to facilitate continuous process design consistent with established industry standards and government regulations, and customer requirements.
- Guarantee or develop the necessary worksheets/systems to measure and evaluate performance, identify trends and reduce variability/defects in critical business processes.
- Gather, mine & analyze data to identify process inefficiencies, wastes and improvement opportunities (Use Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement and problem solving tools).
- Gather requirements and drive process change using staff interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, SOP, and workflow analysis.
- Working within project planning constraints, communicating identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly, and providing inputs to the change control process.
- Complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved. Ensure that improvements can be made for future projects.
What You’ll Do More?
The SOP and procedures that will be handled will touch on among other things:
- Cash on Delivery Integration: Lead the integration of cash on delivery payment methods, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with company standards.
- Implement and monitor controls to mitigate risks associated with cash handling during deliveries
- Cash Out Meachanim/Integration: Lead the integration of cash out payment method.
- Understand the risks and and effectively bypass them.
- Pay at Vendor Process: Develop and manage the pay at vendor process, collaborating with vendors to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Implement controls to prevent payment discrepancies and resolve payment-related issues efficiently.
- Break & Absence Process: Design and oversee the break & absence management process for riders, considering its impact on operational KPIs.
- Develop strategies to minimize operational disruptions caused by rider breaks and absences.
- Offboarding Process: Manage offboarding process for riders, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with exit procedures.
- Conduct exit interviews and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Process Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the rider experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements.
Requirements for Role of Senior Analyst Rider Processes
The eligibility requirements for role of Senior Analyst Rider Processes are as under:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in operational process management, accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a PLUS.
- 2-3 years of overall experience in proven Continuous Improvement analytical Experience from a similar role /Business Excellence under BPO / Project management and business analysis preferably in a logistics or delivery-related industry.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma) is a plus.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Ability to set up, facilitate, and lead service improvement/Workout sessions with a range of business stakeholders (incl Experience in process/value stream mapping).
