Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements
• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CA certification preferred
• Proven experience as a senior accountant or similar role, preferably in the real estate sector or multi-business environments
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
