Job Purpose of A Security Team Leader

• Responsible for securing and protection of property, guests and colleagues.
• Make guests follow the safety and security procedures under the general guidance and supervision of the Security Head of Department.

Your Duties As A Security Team Leader

• Brief the senior security officers and security officers on the security plan for the hotel including incident response mechanisms.
• Carry out and Implement training of all security officers.
• Deliver the security training plan of security officers as per the agreed guidelines.
• Complete all log books, follow up on all outstanding matters from previous shifts, investigate incidents and handover as required.
• Manage and update the perspective incident reporting system.
• Pass all necessary information to the relevant department and individuals in time.
• Escalate incidents to the Assistant Security Manager that require further action in a timely manner.
• Regularly patrol duty posts in conjunction with senior security officers and sign relevant logs as required.
• Conduct regular fire patrols including any construction and refurbishment areas ensuring compliance both by contractors and colleagues and report any irregularities.
• Respond to emergency incidents as and when notified and report back details to the senior management.
• Manage the security response team should an event develop into an emergency or crisis.
• Ensure lost & found enquiries are handed efficiently and correctly and any property claimed returned promptly and in compliance to the lost & found process.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• Must possess Bachelor’s degree or minimum high school diploma.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of Security guard/Officer experience or 1-year Senior Security Officer experience, preferably in Hospitality industry.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Must speak English fluently.
• Knowledge of firefighting equipment.
• Knowledge of CCTV operation.
• First aid and CPR trained.
• Must be knowledgeable in MS Office.
• Knowledge of handling emergency situations and evacuation.
