Security Assurance Inspector in Group Security Emirates Airlines in Garhoud Area opposite to Airport Terminal 3, Dubai, UAE will provide support to the Manager AVSEC Compliance & Assurance in the implementation of a total AVSEC Compliance and Assurance management framework by ensuring Quality Control activities are conducted in a timely manner. Systematically plan, implement, and report on audits, inspections, tests, and exercises across the network as well as of the start-up new stations whilst ensuring the effective implementation of the AOSP, SSP, Station Specific and SOPs standards and international aviation regulatory compliance. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 7000-15000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of Security Assurance Inspector
- Plan, schedule, arrange, prepare, and conduct audits, inspections, and Test as per the calendar and in line with current requirements and audit minimums. Focusing on those stations where elevated level of findings have been previously reported and giving priority to the High-Risk Stations, New Start-up airports Roadmap.
- Support Manager AVSEC Compliance & Assurance with all industry and government audits (IOSA, ISAGO, GCAA, AA. And Regulators of Country of operations/Member States, Customer Air-carrier, third parties, internal and external departments…etc.). Ensure all team auditors/Inspectors are current with all necessary training and qualifications as per regulations.
- Support the Manager-AVSEC Compliance & Assurance in developing and implementing a total Compliance & Assurance management framework. Including systems and processes which adhere to both external/internal requirements and standards.
- Follow-up with Dubai/network stations to obtain root cause, corrective and preventive actions on all overdue findings, escalating as necessary to senior management.
- Deliver optimum utilisation of the Quality Control & Assurance electronic systems, database, and audit tools. Ensuring all checklists are compliant with appropriate and respective regulations and applicable Security Programmes. Maintain operational KPI reporting dashboard, analyse and produce monthly KPI reports and highlight KPI shortcomings to the line management. Provide data analytics in support of comprehensive reports and KPIs.
What you will do more
- Where applicable, assess standards against defined Programmes and in league with competitor standards. Helping the Department in improving service standards to match or exceed. Apply AVSEC Quality Control & Assurance management tools. And statistical process control techniques to identify patterns and make recommendations for improving quality. Lead presentations to report trends and areas for continual non-compliance.
- Conduct audit to applicable Contracted and Authorized Representative Security Service Providers. With all interface departments and stakeholders within and outside the Emirates Group. To ensure business partners and stakeholders comply with all AVSEC regulatory and AVSEC quality control & assurance requirements.
- Provide support in developing audit plan/schedule/road-map of all stations network-wide and manage resources as necessary for audits. Inspections, exercises, tests including oversight audits with SkyCargo Post completion of each audit/inspection/test/exercise. Ensure all observations and findings are validated by the role holder against necessary AVSEC regulatory. programmes/SOPs/SSP. As applicable before the audit report is finalized for presentation to the senior management. Analyse and produce monthly reports on audit, inspection, tests, exercises findings/non-compliance/violations/breaches for the management team to review for purposes of continuous improvement of processes, systems, and performance.
- Desired knowledge of aviation security standards and recommended practices e.g. Annex 17, Doc. 8973 of ICAO, NCASP and NCAQCP of GCAA and of other countries. Acts of Unlawful Interference, AVSEC related Conventions.
- Support and assist in review, prepare, and align AOSP, SSPs, SOPs (including SOPs of aircraft operators having contract with EGS). AVSEC related Standards, Procedures/Processes and other AVSEC associated documents. Facilitate in ensuring effective implementation of documented criterions vis-à-vis documenting the ground practices/processes/procedures.
Requirements for Role of Security Assurance Inspector
- Degree or Honors (12+3 or equivalent)
- Degree or Diploma or Certificate in Aviation Security Management would be an added advantage.
- Qualified Inspector/Auditor.
- Knowledge and experience in using relevant Quality tools.
- 2+ years of experience in the airline industry.
Skills And Knowledge Desired

- Industry related certification i.e. aviation security from IATA, ICAO and other relevant recognized organizations.
