Yasmina American School is seeking an outstanding Science Teacher for Middle School starting in August 2026. Key Responsibilities for Science Teacher at Yasmina American School Abu Dhabi

As Science Teacher, you will deliver lessons that inspire students to achieve the best possible outcomes across the middle school programme. Additionally, you will plan, prepare, and present sessions that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within your classes. Moreover, your duties include organising classroom provision and learning resources, creating engaging displays, and motivating pupils with enthusiastic teaching. Furthermore, you will assess and record student development using Target Tracker, provide feedback to parents at conferences, and use data to influence further planning and intervention. In addition, you will manage classes effectively, maintain positive relationships, and be a role model demonstrating the values expected of students.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or a related subject with an appropriate teaching qualification. Additionally, a minimum of two to three years of teaching experience in Science at the middle school level is required. Furthermore, previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language is desirable. Moreover, candidates should demonstrate a passion for teaching, commitment to educating the whole child, and a high level of professionalism. A clean enhanced DBS check or police check is also required.
